We are seeking a skilled and licensed mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs effectively
- Interpret technical schematics and assembly instructions to accurately repair or replace vehicle components
- Engage in heavy lifting as needed for parts and equipment handling
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety standards
- Assist with vehicle inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and answering customer questions
Skills
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems
- Dealership experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with manufacturer standards
- Welding skills for custom repairs or modifications
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and schematics for precise repairs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Strong maintenance skills to ensure vehicles are kept in optimal condition
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and assembly instructions
- Experience with vehicle diagnostics software is a plus
Pay: $34.00-$42.00 per hour
