Four Counties Addiction Services Team (Fourcast) is a community-based addiction treatment service provider that strives to provide the highest quality of evidence-based addiction treatment and case management services. Fourcast offers services across 5 sites in the region. The community treatment program staff work in-office and community settings and are often co-located and integrated with other organizations to reduce barriers for those accessing services.
About The Position...
This role is based in the Peterborough area and is a full time permanent position.
Fourcast’s HART Hub Transitional Housing Program supports individuals exiting Wolf Street Modular Housing Program into Transitional Housing Program to supports service users on their path to independent housing. The program works from a Housing First approach and uses an evidence-based case management model that supports housing stability and recovery.
The Team Lead’s primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the housing teams. The Team Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring that services are delivered effectively and efficiently while also meeting the needs of the clients and aligning with program goals. This involves providing guidance and support to team members, monitoring performance, and addressing any challenges that may arise.
Additionally, the Team Lead is responsible for maintaining the quality of services by implementing best practices, staying updated on industry trends, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. As a liaison between the team and program manager, the Team Lead facilitates effective communication and collaboration to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes for service users.

What we're looking for:
Education
- Successful completion of a Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology or related degree with a post graduate certificate in Addictions and Mental Health, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience working in the mental health and addictions sector with preference for candidates with housing support.
- Possesses proven experience in a supervisory role or leadership role, effectively leading and managing teams while providing guidance, support and mentorship to foster a positive work environment and drive team success.
- Experience with crisis intervention, advocacy, mediation and conflict resolution.
- Advanced knowledge of concurrent mental health distress presentations including psychosis, trauma, and emotional dysregulation
- Extensive expertise in the knowledge of substance use withdrawal symptoms, options for symptom management and pathways to withdrawal management and replacement therapies.
- Strong knowledge of the addiction treatment system and pathways to care
- Strong knowledge of community social, health and housing support and the social determinants of health
- Strong knowledge of health promotion, disease prevention, behaviour change and health teaching
- Demonstrated experience in system navigation for complex presentations.
Certifications
- Valid First Aid/CPR.
- Naloxone.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certificate.
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) an asset.
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check is required.

Pay: $40.97-$46.21 per hour
