Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role involves managing front desk operations, assisting patients, and supporting the clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments
- Manage phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Verify patient information and update electronic medical records accurately using our clinic software (Atlas).
- Collect insurance information and process payments in compliance with office procedures
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient charts
- Prepare exam rooms and assist the chiropractor with patient needs during visits
- Ensure the front desk area and clinic remains organized, tidy, and welcoming
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment details and office policies
- Support clinical staff with light administrative duties as needed
Experience
- Prior experience not necessary
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to chiropractic or healthcare settings is advantageous
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems and managing front desk operations is desirable
- Previous administrative experience in a healthcare environment demonstrates strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
