Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Mechanical Junior Project Manager to join our construction management team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop project management skills within a dynamic construction environment. The successful candidate will assist in coordinating various phases of mechanical projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to specifications, and effective communication among stakeholders. A background in construction, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with industry-standard software are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating mechanical projects from inception to completion
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support project execution
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Excel to track project progress and budgets
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure schedules are maintained and milestones are met
- Monitor project timelines and assist in managing resources effectively
- Contribute to maintaining accurate documentation and reports throughout project lifecycle
- Communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all project phases
Skills
- Ample plumbing and mechanical experience onsite
- Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Understanding of construction processes and civil engineering principles
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management capabilities
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
