Shay Tire is growing, and we're looking for an energetic, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team in Berwick, Nova Scotia.
This is more than a counter position. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and believes in teamwork. At Shay Tire and Shay Trailer Sales, we work together to provide exceptional service to our customers and support one another when the workload gets busy.
As a Service Advisor, you'll be involved in the automotive, tire, wheel, and trailer side of our business, helping customers find the right products and services while coordinating with our technicians and support staff.
What You'll Do
- Welcome customers and provide outstanding customer service
- Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments
- Prepare estimates and service recommendations
- Assist customers with automotive, tire, wheel, and trailer needs
- Source and order parts and accessories
- Process invoices and payments
- Maintain accurate customer and inventory records
- Coordinate with technicians and management to ensure customer satisfaction
- Support daily operations and contribute to a positive team environment
What We're Looking For
- Automotive industry experience preferred
- Trailer industry experience considered an asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Team-first attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Available to work occasional Saturdays during busy spring and fall seasons
