Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment where excellent communication and multitasking skills are essential. Previous restaurant experience is required (min 2 years).
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed during food handling and serving
- Assist with setting up tables, refilling beverages, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and provide excellent guest services at all times
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry required (min two years)
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Silverware
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory
