Kobold is a global provider of leading edge well completion technologies and services for the Oil and Gas industry.
We are currently looking for an Assembly Hand to join our growing Manufacturing team.
As a member of the Kobold Manufacturing group, you will be responsible for putting together parts for component assemblies and sub-assemblies to make up final downhole tool equipment in a shop environment. This position will ensure the quality of the services provided meet company and client expectations, as well as adhere to company policies and regulations related to HSE with submissions of all relevant paperwork.

Core Responsibilities Include:
- Assemble products accurately to meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.
- Perform pressure testing and verify products meet design and quality requirements.
- Complete assigned tasks and documentation within required timelines.
- Identify and report process or product issues through the NCR and corrective action systems.
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance to ensure readiness for service.
- Report damaged, missing, or defective tools to the Team Lead.
- Operate equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Track parts usage and maintain inventory records in coordination with Inventory personnel.
- Support continuous improvement by reporting unsafe or hazardous conditions.
- Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized.
- Adhere to all current and future Kobold policies.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
- 1 - 3 years of shop experience assembling downhole tools or equipment in production runs.
- Physically capable of repetitive lifting and manipulation of steel parts up to 32kg
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Appreciation for quality of products and meets our quality expectations in the assembly process.
- Familiar with MSDS, forklift operation, First Aid, TDG and WHMIS.
- The candidate must be self-motivated, work in an ethic and professional manner.
- Coachable and Trainable.
