We are actively seeking a skilled licensed Auto Body Prepper/ Painter to join our dedicated team to contribute to our high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Applicants must be proficient in refinishing, eager to work, hands-on experience as an auto body painter, team player, and who’s passionate in top notch workmanship.
Responsibilities Include:
· Review damage reports and plan work to be Preformed.
· Prepare vehicles for painting by performing tasks such as sanding, priming, and masking.
· Mix, paint, blend, and match colors
· Refinish repaired surfaces, refinish new part surfaces.
· Must be able to blend panels.
· Ability to use refinish equipment, paint shot camera, spray cards, and computer tinting.
· Complete accurate paint blending and color matching to ensure seamless results.
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety and efficiency.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of quality.
· Follow company guidelines and industry standards for best practices in autobody prepping and painting,
· Inspect painted surfaces for defects and make necessary repairs.
· Completes works orders within specified time frame and alerts appropriate staff if delayed.
· Follows all hazardous waste and safety regulations; wears required PPE and adheres to company policies.
· A Valid Driver’s License is required.
Qualifications:
· Valid autobody prepper/painter license
· Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in autobody preparation and painting
· Proficiency in working with both water-based and solvent-based paints.
· Strong attention to detail and an eye for color matching
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
· Solid problem-solving abilities to address unexpected challenges.
· Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
