The Roofing Service Technician performs all roofing repairs in a timely manner as assigned by the service coordinator.
- Receive emails in regards to service needed and prioritise services by urgency;
- Communicate with supervisors to determine what tasks needs to be accomplished;
- Repair items up to code on work orders provided by builder supervisors;
- Determine the materials needed to do each service repair,
- Evaluate and determine issues due to water infiltration and present solutions to the builder supervisor;
- Perform roof finals and roof straps;
- Asset if you have experience in metal roofing;
- Pick up materials at suppliers;
- Drive to and from job sites;
- Maintain and complete inspections of company vehicle.
The Service Technician performs assigned duties in a business office with the majority of the time being spent in the field at job sites.
Must be comfortable working at heights and with ladders.
Must be able to work in extreme temperatures.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Driving to and from jobsites in various road conditions.
