Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, priming, and masking.
- Mix and apply paint to match original vehicle color and finish.
- Apply clear coats and finishing products to ensure a high-quality appearance.
- Use industry-standard techniques to repair and refinish vehicle surfaces.
- Ensure proper curing times and temperature settings for paint application.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols.
- Read and interpret repair orders and manufacturer specifications.
- Work collaboratively with the autobody repair team to ensure timely project completion.
Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an autobody painter or refinishing technician.
- Strong understanding of various automotive paint systems and application techniques.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and repair orders.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in painting and refinishing.
- Experience in autobody repair is an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
