Job Summary
We are a growing, patient-focused general dentistry practice with two dentists, and we are looking for a licensed Dental Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. In this role, you will assist our dentists during a variety of general dental procedures, help ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the practice, and contribute to creating a welcoming and positive experience for every patient.

The successful candidate will apply their knowledge of dental assisting, dental terminology, infection prevention protocols, and dental software to support both our clinical team and our patients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Manage patient records efficiently using dental software such as Dentrix
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and treatments in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Help ensure all clinical areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies
Skills
- Valid licensure as a Dental Assistant with current certification
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of dental professionals
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Schedule:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Some Saturdays as needed (no Saturday shifts during the summer months)
This position is integral to providing comprehensive dental care in a professional setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, compassionate patient service, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.
Pay: $22.00-$37.00 per hour
