Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, take orders accurately, and ensure a positive dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Previous experience in food service and familiarity with restaurant POS systems are highly valued. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash, process payments, and give correct change efficiently
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed during service
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Address guest inquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Basic food handling and serving skills, including knowledge of food industry best practices
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance the guest experience
