Caffe Fantastico is a local family company with three locations.
This position contributes to Caffe Fantastico's success by working with our evening janitorial team to service at our three locations. Current available shifts are Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday, from 6pm - midnight. We seek an experienced applicant who:
- has a strong work ethic
- has a strong attention to detail and a keen awareness of surroundings
- has cleaning experience, preferably in a commercial / restaurant setting
- is self motivated and highly organized
- is able to complete work independently in a timely manner to a high standard
- has good communication skills
- Must have own transport to go between locations
Key Duties:
- Cleaning customer and back of house flooring; mopping, vacuuming.
- Cleaning and sanitizing: washrooms, mirrors, walls, doors, sinks, toilets, ceilings, lights, vents, ledges, walls
- Completing nightly checklists and weekly deep cleaning tasks
- Ensure that security and safety measures are in place identify and report areas needing maintenance to Custodian
Qualifications and Skills
- Candidate must be physically fit
- Experience with Building Service Worker, First Aid, WHIMIS certificates an asset
- Has own transport, as means to get between locations
- Safe lifting (up to 60lbs), kneeling, pushing, and pulling all required
