This is a full-time on-site role for a Dispatcher at Woodland Hauling in Milton, ON. The Dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating delivery trucks, ensuring timely deliveries, handling customer inquiries, and addressing any issues that arise during transit. Additional tasks include maintaining communication with drivers, monitoring delivery progress, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
* Proficiency in using dispatching software and technology Like DAT & Loadlink.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
* Experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is a plus
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Customer service experience or skills
