EduLearn INC is seeking a dedicated teacher or early childhood educator to lead a small, personalized homeschool pod in Da Winton, Alberta, beginning September 21, 2026. This independent-contractor opportunity is ideal for an educator who enjoys building meaningful relationships with learners, adapting instruction to individual needs, and creating engaging small-group learning experiences.
About the Program
EduLearn INC provides flexible, personalized homeschool programs led by carefully selected educators. Programs are customized according to learners’ ages, academic goals, scheduling needs, location, and group size.
Our Core Academic Pod serves three to six learners and provides consistent weekly instruction in core academic subjects.
Responsibilities
The Homeschool Pod Educator will:
- Deliver six hours of in-person instruction each week
- Teach three days per week in two-hour sessions
- Provide engaging instruction for three to six learners
- Adapt lessons to learners’ ages, abilities, interests, and academic goals
- Teach literacy, reading, writing, communication, mathematics, science, and social studies
- Incorporate inquiry-based and project-based learning
- Prepare and follow structured weekly lesson plans
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment
- Monitor learner progress and provide ongoing instructional guidance
- Communicate regularly with families and EduLearn INC
- Work within the curriculum framework established for the school year

- Committed to creating a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment
Qualifications
Candidates should have one or more of the following:
- Teaching certification or a degree in education
- Early childhood education diploma or certification
- Relevant experience in teaching, tutoring, homeschooling, or educational programming
- Strong knowledge of age-appropriate teaching practices and core academic subjects
- A current vulnerable-sector check, or willingness to obtain one
- First aid and CPR certification are considered assets
- Reliable transportation to the program location in Da Winton
