We are looking for a driven, motivated, and detail-oriented Junior Estimator & Sales Assistant to play a key role in both our estimating and sales operations, while actively contributing to the growth and efficiency of our business.
We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and is confident stepping into both technical and client-facing responsibilities. You will be working with drawings and measurements, supporting accurate and competitive estimates, while also helping drive sales, build client relationships, and identify opportunities to improve internal systems and processes.

This position operates within the construction industry and requires a strong foundation in the field.
Applicants must be experienced in reading and interpreting blueprints, performing precise measurements, and completing accurate take-offs. Relevant education or equivalent hands-on experience is mandetory for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Management
- Actively support sales efforts by following up on leads and inquiries
- Nurture prospects through the sales cycle (initial contact to closing)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Prospecting new clients, initiating outreach, and helping build a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Assist in preparing and delivering sales proposals and presentations
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer and pipeline data
- Track leads, opportunities, and conversion rates
Estimating & Technical Support
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Complete accurate material take-offs and quantity measurements
- Measure dimensions and calculate costs for estimates and quotes
- Assist in preparing detailed proposals and pricing packages
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing
Administrative & Operational Support
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support daily operations
- Organize and maintain project files, documentation, and records
- Assist in scheduling, reporting, and internal coordination
- Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvements
- Help streamline workflows to enhance productivity and service delivery
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Business, Construction, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to read, interpret, accurately measure blueprints and technical drawings is essential.
- Experience or familiarity with material take-offs and measurements
- Strong sales mindset with the ability to build relationships and close opportunities
- Strong negotiation skills or interest in developing negotiation techniques
- Excellent communication
- Familiarity with project management principles within the construction industry is a plus.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with CRM or estimating software is an asset
