Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers, highlighting benefits and upselling opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain merchandising standards on the sales floor, ensuring products are well-organized and appealing
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product displays
- Utilize communication skills effectively to engage with diverse customers, including bilingual or multilingual clients
- Support store operations through efficient time management and organizational skills
- Uphold phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries via phone or online channels
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with technology sales, product demos, and basic math for transactions
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and upselling techniques is beneficial
