Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales and guest satisfaction through friendly recommendations
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering duties and processing payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery, ensuring timely service for all guests
Qualifications
- Prior food service experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for efficient order processing
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that demonstrate guest-focused service excellence
- Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is advantageous but not required
