Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces and parts for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, and inspection.
- Load and fill paint hoppers, operate paint guns, and move jobs into booths and ovens using a forklift.
- Follow schedules and curing times to ensure efficient, high-quality production.
- Perform quality control and assurance tests, including Cure Tests, Hatch Tests, and Mil Reading Tests.
- Keep workspaces clean, organized, and safe.
- Accurately complete and submit paperwork on time.
- Communicate with Team Leads and Supervisors about quality concerns, incidents, or production issues.
- Understand paint locations, read and follow paint codes, and track curing times.
Equipment Used
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Safety glasses, ear protection, steel-toe work boots, paint suit, respirator or hood, gloves, and dust mask.
- Tools & Machines: Paint guns, hoppers, ovens, forklifts, compressed air tools.
- Testing Equipment: Mil gauge, cure test kits, and other QC tools.

Schedule Options
- Day Shift
- Flexible options available:
- 5 x 8-hour shifts (Monday – Friday)
- 4 x 10-hour shifts (Monday – Thursday)

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of powder coating experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of industrial painting processes and quality control standards.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and follow proper material handling procedures.
- Must be able to reliably commute to Saskatoon, SK or plan to relocate before starting work.
