Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to keep our three apartment buildings looking clean, fresh, and welcoming. This is an important role that directly contributes to the quality of life for our residents and the professionalism of our properties. Must be able to work independently and in a small team. Must be available full time hours from Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of office, restrooms, common areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure safety and appearance standards are met
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure trash receptacles are emptied regularly
- Reporting all maintenance or safety issues promptly to office
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment
- Turn-over cleaning of vacant apartment units prior to new move-ins (sweeping, mopping, sanitizing bathrooms/kitchens, wiping surfaces, etc.)
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and climbing ladders if necessary
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Flexibility to work during scheduled shifts
- Strong ability to speak English
Pay: $17.00 per hour
