Duties
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations efficiently and comfortably
- Greet passengers warmly, assist with boarding and alighting, and ensure their comfort throughout the journey
- Manage cash transactions accurately when handling fares and provide receipts as needed
- Plan optimal routes using GPS or local knowledge to minimize travel time and avoid delays
- Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times
- Keep detailed logs of trips, fares collected, and any incidents or issues encountered during shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in driving, especially in a commercial or taxi environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Strong time management abilities to adhere to schedules and maximize efficiency
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of local streets, routes, and traffic regulations is highly desirable
