Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Professional Mover to join our team. This role involves assisting clients with moving their belongings efficiently and safely, ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong physical stamina, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. Duties
- Safely load, unload, and transport furniture and household or office items during moves
- Operate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, following all safety protocols
- Assist customers with packing, organizing, and securing items for transport
- Use effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients throughout the moving process
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse and on-site during moves
- Ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage during loading and unloading
- Follow safety guidelines at all times to minimize risk of injury or accidents during heavy lifting or equipment operation
Qualifications
- Experience in moving services, warehouse work, or commercial driving is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly
- Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members
- Prior experience in customer service is advantageous for ensuring client satisfaction
- Reliable transportation to reach various job sites; valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
