We are hiring a Quality Inspector!
Are you a detail-oriented quality professional with a passion for precision? We are looking for a full-time Quality Inspector to join our team. Working alongside our QA Manager, you will collaborate with Engineering and Production to verify parts, analyze data, and ensure our products meet strict aerospace standards.
Your role will be responsible for:
- Verify dimensions: Manually verify that all dimensional requirements are strictly in tolerance using manual QC tools.
- Inspect parts: Inspect components against blueprints, complex 3D models, and design drawings using your knowledge of GD&T.
- Handle FAI & reporting: Perform First Article Inspections, check final reports, and issue Certificates of Compliance (CofC).
- Maintain tools: Perform gauge R&R testing and manage calibration/maintenance records for all inspector tools and equipment.
- Support the QMS: Handle daily tasks related to our Quality Management System and maintain workplace safety regulations.
- Safety First: Comply with all company handbook guidelines and standard Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
What you need to succeed in this role:
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant quality inspection experience in aerospace or manufacturing environment.
- Technical skills: Strong blueprint literacy, solid understanding of manual measuring tools, and PC-DMIS/computer proficiency ( a huge asset).
- QMS & audits: Familiarity with ISO9000/AS9100, NADCAP, and internal/external auditing processes.
- Industry expertise: Background in aerospace quality assurance. Experience with Bombardier, Airbus, or other OEM specifications is a huge asset.
- Special processes: Knowledge of processes like Heat Treatment and Chemical Conversion.
- Software experience: Benefit if you have experience with Net-Inspect for FAI completion and ERP systems.
- Core strengths: Excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and a positive, process-driven attitude.

- Strong organizational, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly when addressing and managing quality or customer concerns.
- Competent computer skills for data entry, logging, and reporting.
