Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, skilled and detail-oriented Autobody Estimator, Collision Estimator to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for our customers after a collision and the link between our technicians, insurers, and clients. In this role, you will evaluate vehicle damage, prepare accurate repair estimates, and liaise with customers and insurance companies to ensure smooth claims processing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, and experience with automotive repairs. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and professionalism are essential for success.

We work Monday-Friday, no weekends
Duties
- Inspect vehicle damage and prepare accurate written estimates using Mitchell and Audatex
- Negotiate repair procedures and pricing with insurance adjusters and ensuring proper documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining repair procedures and cost estimates clearly.
- Order parts and work with production team to schedule repairs
- Upsell additional services or repairs when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and shop revenue.
- Maintain CSI scores and ensure proper documentaion
- Preform supplement writing when teardown reveals additional damage
- Mechanical experience or knowledge of automotive systems enhances the ability to accurately assess vehicle damage.
- Strong customer service skills are essential for building trust and ensuring positive client interactions.
- Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
Pay: $55.00-$70.00 per year

Experience:
- Autobody estimator or insurance appraiser: 2 years (required)
