Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced C. Psych Associate or Psychologist with specialization in WSIB cases to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychological assessments, treatment, and support to patients recovering from workplace injuries. This role involves working closely with medical professionals, patients, and families to facilitate recovery and return-to-work processes. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach, and familiarity with WSIB protocols to ensure effective patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. The candidate will start with a smaller caseload, which will gradually increase to a caseload of 30 - 40 patients.
Responsibilities
- Conducting individualized psychotherapy with a focus on trauma-informed care for patients affected by workplace injuries.
- Developing personalized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential client records.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Participating in professional development activities.
Requirements
- Registered C. Psych Associate or Psychologist with CPBAO
- Experienced in providing psychotherapy to WSIB patients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.
- Knowledge of WSIB policies, procedures, and documents (ie. progress reports)
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to WSIB treatment timelines
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality psychological support tailored to individual patient needs.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.

Pay: $90.00-$120.00 per hour
