BMP Mechanical and Electrical is looking for an experienced plumbing journeyperson ready to step into a sales and estimating role; managing service, maintenance, and repair work across some of Calgary’s schools, condos, strip malls, and multi-unit residential buildings.

The Role
This is a fast-paced, client-facing role that blends office time, site visits, and meetings with owners, property managers, and boards. You’ll estimate and quote work, manage existing accounts, and keep projects moving from first call to final invoice.
What You'll Do
- Build and grow relationships with existing clients, and identify and pursue new ones
- Assess client needs and recommend the right plumbing service, repair, or maintenance solution
- Estimate costs and prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts
- Visit job sites to scope work, troubleshoot issues, and check in on progress
- Manage projects from start to finish, keeping them on time and on budget
- Order materials and coordinate with suppliers and field crews
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients and staff
- Track your sales activity and report on results against targets
What You Bring
- Journeyman Plumbing ticket, with 5+ years of experience
- Gasfitter ticket — an asset
- Commercial and/or residential project experience
- Highly organized, with the ability to track multiple projects, documents, and deadlines at once
- A clear communicator with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Comfortable with Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A reliable vehicle
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
