Position Overview:
- We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part Time Warehouse Merchandise Handler to join our team in our Winnipeg facility.
- Accurately pick and pack products using handheld scanners
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including put-away, replenishment, auditing, and shipping
- Handle products and equipment carefully, following proper procedures
- Maintain productivity and accuracy in line with company standards
- Follow all packing guidelines, including special handling requirements (e.g., ice packs, fragile items)
- Communicate issues or improvement ideas to management
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and follow safety procedures
Experience:
- 1 year of warehousing or related experience
- TDG, forklift, pallet truck, and aerial lift certifications are assets
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with warehouse management software (ASC) is an asset
- Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and regular standing, walking, and other manual tasks
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma
Additional Details:
This is a part-time, student-friendly position.
Reliable transportation is required
Candidates must be available to work the scheduled hours as outlined above.
Job Type: Part Time with the potential for Full Time.
Work Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, scheduled within the following ranges (shifts may vary within these times): Sunday: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday – Thursday: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM. Overtime may be required.
