Overview
Certified Clean Air Services is looking for motivated, reliable, and professional Technicians to join our growing team. This is a field-based role, primarily servicing the Greater Toronto Area, but with regular opportunities for out-of-town and nationwide travel. Technicians will be responsible for maintenance, servicing, and cleaning of residential and commercial HVAC-related systems.
Duties
- Perform fan coil and heat pump maintenance and service.
- Execute ventilation system cleaning: dryer vents, bathroom fans, and HVAC ducts.
- Work both independently and as part of a small mobile team across varied job sites.
- Accurately document work performed using mobile apps or tablets.
- Maintain a professional presence in client homes, condos, and properties.
Qualifications & Skills
1. Technical Proficiency
- Confident and safe using a wide range of tools, including power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable using mobile apps for checklists, notes, and job tracking.
2. Professionalism & Communication
- Friendly, respectful, and presentable in high-end residential environments.
- Clear communicator who can explain technical matters to non-technical clients.
- Maintains a polished appearance and courteous demeanor.
3. Organization & Reporting
- Strong note-taking and documentation skills.
- Excellent time management; able to manage tight schedules across multiple locations without compromising work quality.
4. Interpersonal Skills
- Collaborates well with property managers and tenants.
- Discreet and respectful of client homes and privacy.
5. Travel & Flexibility
- Willing and able to travel for extended out-of-town assignments (potentially weeks at a time).
- Adaptable to various work environments: condos, rural homes, urban residences, and more.
6. Physical & Mental Resilience
- Capable of working long days involving physical tasks and site transitions.
- Maintains composure in dynamic, high-pressure situations.
7. Reliability & Autonomy
- Self-driven and dependable; performs well without constant oversight.
- Trustworthy when working in private homes and responsible with company equipment.
8. Driving Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Clean driving record for insurance purposes.
- Comfortable with long-distance and overnight travel between job sites.
