Welder / Fabricator
Location: Guelph, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay Rate: Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and stick welding on steel and aluminum components
- Fabricate structural and architectural metal products such as railings, stairs, frames, and platforms
- Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints accurately
- Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, plasma cutters, saws, and drills
- Support on-site installation and mobile welding when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of welding and fabrication experience
- Strong MIG welding skills (stick and/or TIG considered an asset)
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
- Comfortable working in both shop and occasional field environments
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license
Assets (Nice to Have)
- CWB certification or Red Seal (Welder 456A)
- Forklift and/or overhead crane experience
- Working at Heights certification
- Experience with structural steel or architectural metal fabrication
Pay: $52,000.00-$57,000.00 per year

- Guelph, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
