About the Role
We are seeking a professional and gracious Massage Therapist to deliver bespoke treatments and create memorable moments for our guests. In this role, you will provide personalized massage experiences, answer guest inquiries with care, and present each treatment with warmth and professionalism.
At our Hotel, every guest is gifted a 60-minute in-room massage as part of their stay. It is your responsibility to transform this offering into a restorative experience — ensuring each guest feels welcomed, relaxed, and genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive.
You will guide guests in selecting services best suited to their needs, perform treatments with expertise and sensitivity, and oversee a seamless, soothing journey from start to finish. The ideal candidate is attentive, guest-focused, and highly skilled in the art of massage therapy.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality massage treatments, adhering to the Hotel’s established standards, consistency, and protocols, all within the framework of CMTO regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation including guest preferences and after-service notes.
- Perform inventory and work with the hotel manager on the ordering of spa supplies, ensuring the space is kept well-provisioned for all services
- Maintain cleanliness in the spa and workspace, ensuring the room is always ready for guest arrival
- Contribute to a seamless guest experience by anticipating client needs and health conditions, always prioritizing their health and safety.
- Deliver exceptional service and build rapport with guests, fostering a sense of loyalty through personalized services.
- Offer assistance by answering questions about the property, services, amenities, local dining, and attractions.
- Address guest concerns and complaints professionally and empathetically, finding solutions to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all matters related to the hotel and hotel guests.
Specific Skills and Qualifications:
- A positive demeanor and genuine care for the health and well-being of all guests.
- Good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
- Current liability and malpractice insurance coverage.
- A strong commitment to ethical standards and best practices in guest care.
- Minimum 3-years' experience as a Massage Therapist
- Prior experience as a Massage Therapist in a luxury or high-end spa is considered an asset
- A personal commitment to delivering service that exceeds guest expectations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with all people.
- Possessing an eye for detail, with a proactive mentality that will anticipate guests’ needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Mastery of maintaining composure and professionalism in busy or stressful situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support our guests.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $120.00-$200.00 per hour
