Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Your expertise in various massage techniques and your commitment to customer satisfaction will be essential in creating a positive experience for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
- Assess client conditions and discuss their goals and preferences before each session.
- Maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before and after treatments.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
- Uphold professional standards of practice in accordance with industry regulations and guidelines.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients and healthcare professionals.
- Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients and ensure their comfort during sessions.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain procedures, address client concerns, and provide aftercare advice.
