Summary
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team at Bradford Dental Care. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your contributions will directly enhance patient care and comfort. Front desk duties is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Ensure patient comfort and provide support throughout their visit.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with the dental team to improve workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience as a Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is an asset.
- HARP X-Ray Certification
- Current certification in CPR
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
