Responsibilities
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce clear, detailed images of patients’ internal structures
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Follow strict safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate imaging techniques
- Maintain detailed records of procedures, patient information, and equipment calibration logs
- Assist in the maintenance and proper functioning of imaging equipment through routine checks and troubleshooting
- Adhere to all health, safety, and confidentiality regulations throughout every procedure
Requirements
- Proven experience as an MRT or CLXT in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to radiography and patient care
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy
- Certification or licensure as required by local health authorities or regulatory bodies
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift patients or equipment when necessary, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
