Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting various landscaping and maintenance projects to ensure the beauty and health of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and outdoor work, with a strong focus on safety and quality. Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and watering
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators under supervision
- Support installation projects involving construction, planting, and irrigation systems
- Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution
- Perform gardening tasks such as soil preparation, fertilizing, and pest control
- Support with excavation work and site preparation using mechanical equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols during all tasks to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Prior experience with landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating machinery like excavators is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance practices is desirable
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites is preferred
