Delivery Driver – CLASS G
Term of Employment: Day, Full time, 3 month contract with possible extension to Permanent
Salary: 40-44 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: 2026/07/06
Location: Mississauga, ON
COMPANY INFO: Industrial Distributor seeks motivated, experienced and qualified driver for local pick-up and delivery runs within the GTA area. This individual must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines and be dedicated to exemplary customer service.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid G class driver’s license issued by the province of Ontario
- Pick-up and deliver various items, load and unload goods
- Accurately process delivery and pick-up documentation
- Efficiently plan travel schedules and routes, use maps and other trip planning aids
- Effectively communicate with dispatch to execute pick-ups and deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle
- Possess essential skills such as reading and interpreting text, numeracy, superior oral and written communication, decision making, job task planning and organizing, finding information
- Ability to lift weight up to 60 lbs.
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Other duties as required.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must speak, read & write English fluently
- Extensive navigation experience within the GTA (Greater Toronto Area)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant, verifiable MULTI-STOP delivery experience in a similar environment
- Completion of high school diploma
- Any credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.) would be considered an asset.

- Able to pass Criminal record check and have a clean driving record (abstract reqd.)

- Own pair of steel toed boots.
