Full-Time Houseperson / Laundry Attendant
Staybridge Suites Aurora East is seeking a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Full-Time Houseperson / Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team.
The Houseperson / Laundry Attendant plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment for our guests while supporting the housekeeping department with laundry, linen distribution, public area cleanliness, and general hotel operations.

Responsibilities
- Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items according to hotel standards.
- Sort soiled linens and ensure clean linens are properly stored and distributed.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all public areas, including the lobby, hallways, elevators, stairwells, public washrooms, fitness center, and other guest areas.
- Support Room Attendants by delivering clean linens, towels, amenities, and housekeeping supplies.
- Remove trash and transport soiled linens to designated areas.
- Vacuum, dust, mop, sanitize, and maintain public spaces and service areas.
- Keep laundry rooms, housekeeping storage areas, and supply closets clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Monitor linen levels and notify management when additional supplies are required.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
- Assist with moving furniture, setting up meeting spaces, and completing special projects as assigned.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, and lost-and-found items to the appropriate department.
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and brand standards.
- Work cooperatively with all hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Perform other housekeeping and general hotel duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel, housekeeping, or laundry experience is an asset but not required.
- Must be dependable, punctual, energetic, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Must be comfortable working with commercial laundry equipment.
- Must be available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Full-time availability is required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the housekeeping team.

Pay: $18.90-$19.90 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
