Lawn Care Technician:
Hiring for Fall 2026 & Spring 2027
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for individuals of all ages who are strong, fit, and love working outside and putting in an earnest day's effort. A little heat or a bit of rain doesn’t bother you, and you thrive outdoors! Spring and Fall, of course, are the busiest seasons, and Fall 2026 is right around the corner! We are currently looking for a few fresh faces to join our Fall Lawn & Fall Clean-Up Crew!
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Cutting Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and possess the mechanical knowledge needed to operate a range of commercial-grade tools and equipment effectively and safely. As a Lawn Technician, you will maintain and enhance the beauty of residential and commercial lawns, ensuring they are healthy and well-kept. We are looking for someone with experience using weed whackers to edge lawns & edges of sidewalks/driveways. Our lawn crew runs Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Typically mowing from mid-April until early November.
Who Would Be a Good Fit for This Role?
This role is great for someone looking for flexible part-time work, with room to pick up extra shifts during the peak seasons. Whether you’re a student, an adult already working a full-time job, or retired and looking for part-time work, there is room to grow with the team and the company year after year. We cannot always guarantee hours because of the nature of this work. Though we try our best to be fair and give as many shifts as we can to everyone, depending on availability, skills & experience. There are periods of the year where you can expect fewer shifts, and some periods where you could work anywhere from 4-6 days a week consistently. The more diversity among the team and everyone’s schedule, the more often things work out, and the more flexibility we have to help one another when we can.
This role is also perfect for Sheridan students with a weekday or two off from classes each week who’d like to dedicate that time solely to work. For our team members, full-day availability on Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays helps during this busy fall season for larger team fall clean-ups and wider-scope softscape jobs. On the other hand, our lawn crew runs Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, so if you are handy with lawn tools/machines and only have classes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, then you could work on the lawn crew on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
