Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass Installer to join our automotive team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing glass in various automobiles, ensuring safety and precision. Dutie
- Prepare work areas by removing old or damaged glass and cleaning surfaces for new installations
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to cut, shape, and install glass panels accurately
- Install glass in windows, doors, facades, partitions, and other structures according to specifications
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and insulation standards are met
- Operate heavy equipment safely when handling large or heavy glass panel
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly store tools and materials after use
Requiremen
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and other relevant equipment
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to glass handling and installation
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform strenuous tasks over extended periods
- Valid <PERSON> license or relevant certification preferred
