INDUSTRIAL CONCRETE FINISHER

Brown's Industrial Services is looking for experienced Concrete Finishers to join our growing construction team. We need people who understand concrete, work well with a crew and know how to deliver a quality finish when the pressure is on.
What You'll Be Doing
· Place, spread, screed, level and finish concrete.
· Work on industrial slabs, foundations, equipment pads, sidewalks and other structures.
· Check grades, elevations and concrete depth.
· Float, edge, groove and trowel concrete using hand and power tools.
· Complete smooth, broom and other specified finishes.
· Apply curing compounds and sealers and assist with concrete repairs.
· Work safely alongside carpenters, operators and labourers.
What We're Looking For
· Journeyperson/Red Seal, registered Apprentice or demonstrated concrete finishing experience.
· Industrial or commercial concrete experience preferred.
· Comfortable using hand and power finishing equipment.
· Able to work accurately to grades and specifications.
· Reliable, safety-minded and comfortable with physically demanding outdoor work.
Safety & Site Requirements
· CSTS 2020 Fundamentals
· WHMIS 2015
· H2S Alive
· Ground Disturbance 201
· Must have valid driver's license and provide a driver’s abstract
· Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test and Physical Demands Analysis
Camp accommodations and travel allowance provided.
Our Carpenters will be providing general Site Services, light framework for grout pads & door aprons, and placing and finishing grout and small concrete pours. At Brown’s we follow strict Health and Safety guidelines, and the expectation is that you value safety as much as we do.
