Job Title: Carpenter – Construction Projects (4x2 Rotation)
Location: Various Remote Sites Across Northern Ontario
Rotation: 28 days on, 14 days off
Travel: Company paid-travel (including half-day paid travel in & out)
Reports To: Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter for ongoing work in Northern Labrador and various other locations, as required.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their carpentry skills while working on a rotational basis in a well-supported, remote camp environment. The Carpenter plays a crucial role in the construction team, responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the assembly, installation, and maintenance of wooden structures and fixtures. This position requires expertise in carpentry techniques, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solid understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Help with setup, maintenance, and cleanup of work areas
- Follow all site safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to read technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform duties requiring manual labour.
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Effective time management skills to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of carpentry experience
- Willingness to work in a remote and physically demanding environment
- Knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques
- This position requires working at various construction sites, both indoor and outdoors, exposed to various weather conditions.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work as project demands required
- Ability to work in a team setting and follow direction
- Safety conscious with a positive attitude
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Assets (not required but considered an advantage):
- CSTS-09/2020 and WHMIS 2015 certifications
- Valid drivers license
