Position: General Construction labour - Renovation / light demolition
Salary: $18-20/hour to start
Location: Edmonton Alberta
Position to start immediately - 40 hours per week + Overtime
Seeking experienced Construction laborers with at least 1 year of experience working in an industrial or commercial construction environment. Experience with operating basid hand tools to do light demolition (removal of drywall, carpet/flooring) removing contents/inventory, clean up of site and preparing for renovation and reconstruction crews. This role would be working in small teams across various sites in Edmonton, own transportation is an strong asset!
Position Duties:
- Removing contents & inventory from residential homes and commercial businesses affected by flooding
- Clean up and disposal of materials, removing drywall, carpet/flooring, other building materials
- Assisting trades crews on site
- Prepping site for reconstruction
- Lifting up to 50lbs regularly, walking & standing for extended periods of time and going up and down stairs regularly.
Candidates should have steel-toed boots and be able to start work immediately!
