KARSHEL AUTO PARTS is a growing auto recycling and used auto parts company serving customers across British Columbia and beyond. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Auto Parts Yard Worker / Vehicle Dismantler to join our team on a full-time basis.
This role involves the safe and efficient dismantling of vehicles, identifying and removing quality auto parts, and maintaining an organized and productive yard. If you have a passion for cars, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in doing the job right, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safely dismantle vehicles using appropriate hand tools and power tools while ensuring parts are removed without damage
- Identify, remove, and organize mechanical, electrical, suspension, interior, and body parts for resale
- Test and inspect vehicle components for quality and condition
- Label, inventory, and store parts accurately
- Operate forklifts, carts, and other yard equipment (training or certification is an asset)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles and parts
- Work efficiently as part of a team while meeting daily production goals
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an auto wrecking yard, auto recycling facility, repair shop, or mechanical environment is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle components
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to identify parts from various makes and models
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physically capable of lifting heavy parts and working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to our yard located on Fraser Highway, Langley
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to learn
