SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Proactively manages talent-acquisition processes and provides personalized guidance to the relevant managers. Seeks to fully understand needs and challenges in order to propose tailored strategies that help attract the desired candidates
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Seeks to fully understand needs and challenges in order to propose tailored strategies that help attract the desired candidates.

Ensures collective bargaining agreements and current guidelines are correctly interpreted so that relevant provisions are complied with and enforced.

Supports managers in applying best practices and provides objective recommendations regarding the evaluation and selection of candidates.

Collaborates on the development of selection and evaluation tools and plans that are tailored to the specific needs of the processes while supporting fair and informed decision making.

Carries out selection activities, such as managing applications and coordinating interviews, while ensuring the process is professional and respectful.

Manages the administrative follow-up and coordination of the various stages of the hiring process, ensuring compliance with current guidelines and practices as well as deadlines.

In collaboration with other team members, contributes to the evolution of HR services by proposing innovative and efficient improvements.
REQUIRED TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

University degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations or equivalent;
-
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a unionized workplace;

Cultural diversity competencies and ability to communicate and interact effectively with different cultural groups;

Ability to leverage previous experiences and unique perspective or expertise to enrich interactions and the NFB as a whole;

Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);

Membership in the CRHA is an asset;
-
Bilingualism in both official languages (French and English), both orally and in writing.
