Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide professional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, while delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in a welcoming environment, helping clients look and feel their best. The Nail Technician will also assist with retail sales and promote additional services such as body waxing, ensuring a comprehensive beauty experience for clients.
Duties
- Perform a variety of nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Provide body waxing services as requested by clients
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in all tools and work areas to ensure client safety
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations
- Educate clients on proper nail care maintenance and aftercare instructions
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role in a salon or spa setting
- Certification or license required in accordance with local regulations
- Knowledge of body waxing techniques is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain treatments and recommend products/services
- Ability to perform nail care procedures with precision and creativity
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and practices in a beauty environment
- Retail sales experience is a plus, with the ability to upsell products confidently
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
