We are seeking a skilled and dependable Manual Lathe Operator to join our machining team.
Responsibilities:
- Previous experience operating manual lathe in a machine shop environment.
- Set up and operate manual lathes to machine a variety of metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
- Select appropriate tooling and determine machining methods.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality requirements.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules.
