We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and outdoor-loving Marina Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily waterfront operations, ensuring our property looks pristine and our clients' boats are safely handled and serviced. Key Responsibilities
- Boat Handling & Fueling: Safely assist with launching and hauling out boats, guide vessels safely to docks, and operate the fuel dock to safely pump fuel and perform holding tank pump-outs.
- Dock & Property Maintenance: Routinely inspect and perform minor repairs on docks, ramps, and walkways to ensure safety for guests and staff.
- Yard & Facilities Upkeep: Maintain the marina grounds by mowing lawns, trimming, clearing debris, and handling general property repairs.
- Cleaning Duties: Keep the marina property, customer areas, workshops, and designated boat interiors clean, organized, and presentable.
- Customer Service: Greet boaters with a friendly attitude, assist them with lines during docking, and help answer basic questions about the facilities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in landscaping, construction, general labor, or working around boats/marinas is a strong asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
- Physical Requirements: Must be comfortable working on your feet all day, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, wind).
- Water Comfort: Ability to swim and a high level of comfort working safely on and around deep water.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of hand tools for property repairs; a boating license (e.g., PCOC) or a valid driver's license is a major plus.
- Traits: Strong work ethic, reliable punctuality, and a safety-first mindset around heavy equipment and water.
