Our team is looking for Carpenter Helper/Labourer to start immediately at Cutting Bros. Inc. in Port Carling, Muskoka.
A family of fourth generation carpenters, the Cutting Bros. are well known in the area as some of the best conventional and timber framers, and we are looking to bring in a few fresh faces to our team. We are thriving and there is always plenty of room for movement and growth here for the right people.

Qualifications and Skills
- 1 year min. experience
- Own transportation (preferred)
- Motivated and hardworking
- Ability to read, understand and follow blueprints, schematics and related technical drawings for each building project
- Keen attention to accuracy and detail and an understanding of all aspects and stages of building construction and willingness to learn, adapt and share knowledge as required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of crew(s) in a process-driven and sometimes fast-pace environment and around other trades on the jobsite
- Excellent and positive communication skills with excellent problem solving/trouble shooting skills
- Work with, communicate and interact respectfully with everyone including other trades professionals on the jobsite to foster a respectful and collaborative work environment
- Capable of heavy lifting of material and tools
- Properly operate all woodworking tools, machinery and equipment according to the manufactures specifications
- Accurately measure, cut, shape, assemble and install wood and other building materials for all stages of residential build
- Be flexible, understanding and adaptable regarding various planning and schedule changes that can take effect due to weather, inspections, permits, other subtrades and other matters beyond anyone's control
Licence and Certifications
- Drivers Licence (preferred)
- Valid Working at Heights (preferred)
- Any other certifications are an asset
