Razk Flooring is hiring a reliable and hardworking Flooring Installer Helper / Assistant for ongoing residential flooring projects in Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and Guelph.
Pay:
$160–$200 per day or $20–$25 per hour, depending on the candidate’s flooring experience, skills and ability.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with hardwood, vinyl plank and laminate flooring installations
- Measure and cut flooring materials
- Safely operate flooring saws and basic power tools
- Prepare and clean job sites
- Carry flooring materials and equipment
- Assist with finishing details, transitions and baseboards
- Work carefully and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Some previous flooring installation experience is required
- Full installer knowledge is not required, but the candidate must understand the basic installation process
- Must know how to safely use saws and flooring tools
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to different job locations
- Must be reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Must be physically able to carry flooring materials and equipment
- Must be willing to learn and follow instructions
- A résumé or short description of previous flooring experience is required
This position is for a Flooring Installer Helper / Assistant. It is not for subcontractors looking for complete flooring contracts.
