- Thrives in a structured environment and enjoys following systems while continually looking for opportunities to improve them.
- Has exceptional customer service skills and genuinely enjoys creating meaningful connections with guests and regulars.
- Has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards throughout the café.
- Is proactive, organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Is comfortable coaching and motivating team members while leading by example.
- Looks for opportunities to increase sales through suggestive selling, merchandising, and creating an outstanding guest experience.
- Loves pie and all things baked goodness.
As our Burnaby Café Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the daily operation of the café, including:
- Leading the front-of-house team during your shifts.
- Creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest.
- Preparing espresso-based beverages and other café drinks.
- Serving guests and packaging products with care.
- Completing our morning bake and ensuring displays remain full and inviting throughout the day.
- Coaching team members and helping maintain our customer service standards.
- Ensuring opening, closing, and daily operational systems are completed accurately.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked café.
- Setting up and taking down our patio (must be able to lift approximately 20 lbs).
- Working closely with our Front of House Assistant Manager to identify opportunities to improve operations, guest experience, and sales.
- Full-time preferred.
- Must be available Tuesday through Sunday, including weekends.
- Based primarily at our Burnaby location, with occasional shifts and training in Port Moody.
- Medical and dental benefits available for full-time employees.
- Tips shared amongst the team.
- Valid BC driver’s licence and clean driving record are considered an asset.
