Park Place Lodge is seeking an energetic, reliable, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will assist in overseeing the daily operations of our Housekeeping Department and help ensure that our 64 guest rooms and public areas consistently meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housekeeping professional who enjoys leading a team and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support housekeeping and laundry staff in their daily duties.
- Be a HANDS ON WORKING Supervisor
- Assist with training, coaching, and mentoring team members.
- Coordinate daily room assignments and departmental tasks.
- Help schedule staff to meet hotel occupancy demands.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Monitor housekeeping and laundry supply inventories and assist with ordering as required.
- Restock housekeeping supply rooms throughout the hotel.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair requests when necessary.
- Ensure all safety procedures, department policies, and hotel standards are followed.
- Perform housekeeping and laundry duties as required to support the team.
- Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping supervisory experience preferred - minimum of 1 year
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train and mentor staff effectively.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn hotel reservation software.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Dependable, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
